Job Summary : The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for the safe preparation, verification, and clinical management of chemotherapy and other hazardous medications. This role involves close collaboration with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and compound chemotherapy and other hazardous medications as per accreditation standards.
  • Review and verify chemotherapy orders for accuracy, dosing appropriateness, drug interactions, and protocol compliance.
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to oncology patients, including therapy monitoring and patient counseling.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary oncology rounds and treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and inventory control of oncology medications.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) 
  • Clinical Pharmacist Degree
  • Active pharmacist license .
